By now, we understand that knowing why you're struggling isn't always enough to create real change in your life. That's why the Aligned Therapy approach focuses on healing through experiences, not just through talking and understanding.

Think of it this way: reading about how to swim isn't the same as getting in the water. Similarly, our therapists guide you through emotional experiences that help you feel and heal in the moment, rather than just discussing your challenges from a distance.
As a therapist, I am trained in proven therapy models like Internal Family Systems, which helps you connect with different parts of yourself that might be in conflict, and Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples, which helps partners create new patterns of emotional connection. These methods allow you to actually experience your emotions in a safe environment, reconnect with aspects of yourself you might have pushed away, and practice new ways of relating to yourself and others.

What makes this approach special is that the changes you experience in therapy become lasting transformations that extend into your everyday life. Many clients express that they develop a deeper sense of self-compassion and more fulfilling relationships as they practice these new experiences outside our office.
